Werfen specializes in the diagnostics for hemostasis, acute care, transfusion, autoimmunity, and transplant. SFIL provided lighting and lighting control system design for Werfen's new 169,000SF lab and office building. Located on the company’s Bedford campus, the two-story facility includes 118,000SF of lab space, offices, employee amenity areas, and ground-level parking for 160 cars.Flexibility in layout was a key priority for the client. The lighting and lighting control design for labs and open offices was developed to support this adaptability. In the digital factory space, hexagon-shaped light fixtures reflect the company’s cutting-edge technology. The lighting control system features a networked design, providing maximum flexibility and ease of use.
