The Class of 1945 Library occupies a central and cherished place on the Exeter campus. Originally designed by Louis Kahn, the Library is widely honored as one America’s most significant 20th century buildings. Following an extensive Master Plan that set a strategy for the Library’s preservation, renewal, and revitalization the Commons, the first phase of the renovation, was completed. The renovated space includes new furnishings, lighting and finishes taking its cues from Kahn's original details.
