Boston Private Bank

Boston, MA

This stately 1920’s Neo-Classical banking hall was in desperate need of a lighting update. The client wished to maintain the three existing brass chandeliers, but wanted to increase the overall lighting levels without touching the coffered ceiling in this 1,300 SF hall, 30’ tall hall. The chandeliers were re-lamped with 4.5watt LED replacements, reducing the load from 3,360 down to 378 watts. Overall indirect lighting wattage was reduced from 2,400 watts to 1,512 watts, while increasing the lighting levels by 400%.
