Yale University, Humanities Quadrangle

New Haven, CT

The former "Hall of Graduate Studies" a Collegiate Gothic complex  designed by James Gamble Rogers in the 1930's has been transformed into Yale’s new 206,000 SF Center for Humanities . The facility houses faculty offices, classrooms and seminar spaces as well as a new 13,000 SF addition located below a redesigned courtyard accommodating a 280-seat lecture hall and film screening room. New LED lighting is integrated into the fabric of the historic building alongside refurbished historic fixtures, enhancing the beauty of the original design.
